Art was given to me...
Art has always been my favorite activity yet in the recent years I have been able do dedicate a little more time to my passion. I apply many various techniques, many different bases, but I do not spend too much time on one. I like changing styles and enjoy playing with colors. Often to express a storm of emotions or thoughts, I combine contrasting, sharp tones; though my ultimate intention is to create a complete composition. On the other hand, in dark, shady pictures, I apply stream light to accent something. As Oscar Wilde said, "Do not be afraid of darkness. It proves that there is light somewhere". There are many different themes in my work, with a human in movement and carricature dominating. I also use a form of book illustration. I tend to avoid realism but I still balance on the verge of it. I try to capture realistic images using a digital camera. Photography is my other form of expression and my favorite subjects are the same as in my painting. Many times I even arrange the situations to photograph them. These activities allow me to relax and find myself. They provide me much enjoyment and energy.
